Sounds like a job. You really should read and research, but I suggest the following hardware and software:
Servers running Windows Server 2003 R2 Standard (with 20 CALs) and acts as a Domain Controller w / DHCP, DNS
Microsoft Office XP (2002)
Cisco or Linksys 24-Port Switch
TCP / IP, of course!
As for servers and client computers, depending on your budget and whether the manufacturer or the dealer gives you a special price for schools.
